How to Take a Hostage Checklist
Securing the Hostages
Specify at least two detention areas for each platoon
Cover the eyes and tie the hands of all adult hostages (men and women)
Assign guarding tasks and boobytrap detention areas using explosives
Use of medium sniper weapons and anti-aircraft weapons to secure the locations
Prepare the prisoners' room (bathroom, food), search the detention area and the hostages' clothes
(Guard prisoners with command ranks)
Use the "Important Words in Hebrew" list to communicate with the hostages
Notify the company commander about the taking of the hostages - locations, numbers and security
Kill those who cause trouble and anyone who tries to escape - killing orders from the company commander
