IDF strikes weapons manufacturing sites belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization
Over the course of the past day, riots took place along the security fence in the northern Gaza Strip. During the riots there was live fire from the Gaza Strip, from which an Israeli Border Police soldier was injured.
In response, IDF fighter jets have struck four weapons manufacturing and storage sites belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization.
The Hamas terrorist organization continues to lead the Gaza Strip towards terror while exploiting the civilian population. The IDF will continue to respond forcefully to terror efforts from the Gaza Strip, and views the Hamas terrorist organization as responsible for all activity in the Gaza Strip.
In accordance with the ongoing situational assessment in the IDF, it has been decided to reinforce the Gaza Division with additional troops. IDF forces are prepared in the area for any situation.
