New Commanding Officer of the Southern Command - Maj. Gen. Eliezer Toledano
The Chief of the General Staff: “We won’t allow the decision of the International Criminal Court to shake us.”
Maj. Gen. Eliezer Toledano took office today (Sunday) as Commanding Officer of the Southern Command.

Maj. Gen. Toledano succeeds Maj. Gen. Herzi Halevi, who completes approximately three years as Commanding Officer of the Southern Command, and will soon take up his position as Deputy Chief of the General Staff.

The handover ceremony was held at the Southern Command Headquarters in Be'er Sheva, headed by the Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Aviv Kohavi, and in the presence of members of the General Staff, the heads of local authorities and the Halevi and Toledano families.
